Supporting the creative industries in Nigeria: creative intermediaries forum

Date: 11th April 2019
Time: 10am – 4pm
Venue: Ikoyo (to be confirmed)
Aims
This one-day workshop is aiming to bring together a range of stakeholders and intermediaries all working towards supporting the development of creative and cultural industries (CCIs) in Lagos and Nigeria. Creative intermediaries include profit and no-for-profit organisations facilitating a range of opportunities for creative individuals and companies such as: training and skills, space and business planning, access to finance and financial advice, access to markets, internationalisation and other opportunities.

Long-term objectives
As part of the forum we hope to support creative intermediaries and facilitate communication and initiative across organisations, creating a local (and potentially national) network that facilitate information sharing for the benefit of creative and cultural industries and individuals. We hope to be able to facilitate this further via the creation of an app / web platform, after feedback from the participants
