The conference is the closing event of the AHRC funded research network “UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORTING CREATIVE ECONOMIES IN AFRICA: EDUCATION, NETWORKS AND POLICY” led by Dr Roberta Comunian (King’s College London) and Brian Hracs (University of Southampton).

This international one-day conference will bring together UK and African researchers to discuss the current state of knowledge and understanding in relation to the development of creative economies in Africa.  It will be an opportunity for collaborators and partners to disseminate some of the findings from AHRC funded international research network “UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORTING CREATIVE ECONOMIES IN AFRICA: EDUCATION, NETWORKS AND POLICY” as well as an opportunity to hear from others researching in this area in UK and internationally.
A final programme of the conference can be downloaded below
